The Engineering & Stormwater Department is tasked with ensuring that all development within the City, both public and private, meets a high standard of excellence, as necessary to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the public, as well as the financial viability of the City. The Department's responsibilities include management of the City's Stormwater Infrastructure Capital Improvement Program, maintenance of the community wide stormwater drainage system, engineering review of development projects throughout the City, review of drainage on residential lots and permitting of both residential and commercial activities within the City's rights of way.
