The City of Palm Coast offers something for every resident. Our moderate temperatures and lush, green landscapes allow for many outdoor activities whether it's playing a round of golf on any of the eight area championship golf courses; taking a relaxing stroll along the Intracoastal Waterway or your neighborhood, for that matter; playing tennis on United States Tennis Association sanctioned hard, clay or grass courts; or simply enjoying nature as you are biking, bird-watching, boating, fishing, or swimming.

The City of Palm Coast's newest recreation facility is the Indian Trails Sports Complex. Approximately 40 acres of the 164-acre site have been developed. This facility boasts four lighted baseball/softball fields with a central concession stand with restrooms, four lighted soccer fields, two covered pavilions with picnic tables and a playground. Our other parks include more ball fields, playground areas and covered pavilions.

We also have a City-owned pool that is open for public use, the Frieda Zamba Aquatic Complex.

We are dedicated to the environment and preserving the natural beauty of Palm Coast while accommodating the rapid influx of residents and businesses. This is why we have identified and purchased land in priority target areas. We established the Palm Coast Parkway Greenway Project and retained the Trust for Public Lands as a partner in the acquisition process. This land, located within the Palm Coast Parkway Corridor, has been converted into a "linear park" along with an existing canal and walking trail. It will be preserved for passive recreational use and will maintain its natural environment. This park will serve as a legacy for future generations of city residents.

It is our Mayor and City Council's vision to make Palm Coast a leadership city with a quality of life, access to nature, and professional services unsurpassed in Northeast Florida and ensure our mission to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Palm Coast through a full range of efficient and effective municipal services. Preservation and protection of environmentally sensitive lands is a key goal of this City as it prepares for the future.

The City provides a wide range of services including development services, fire services, street construction and maintenance, water/wastewater utility services in addition to our parks and recreational activities.
